A governmententity needs a Senior Application Developer who still loves the build. Customapplications, in an agile room, from specification to something that runs. Youwrite it, test it, document it, and you do not leave the next person guessing.
The work includes eLearning that trains and supports the people who use what you ship.
The Role:
You translate user requirements into the design and development of customised applications inan agile environment. You design, develop and deploy from program specifications, and you keep the build inside the government entity’s Software Development Life Cycle and Application Lifecycle Management.
What you will do:
- Translateuser requirements into the design and development of customised applications inan agile environment.
- Design,develop and deploy programs from program specifications.
- Constructand implement application programs.
- Constructand develop programs, including coding, testing and debugging.
- Ensuredocumentation of code and classes.
- Coordinate application plans with the development team or the government entity.
- Adhereto the government entity’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes.
- Design,develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet the government entity’s needsand optimise efficacy through training and support.
What you bring:
Minimum qualifications and competencies:
- Atertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology, and/or a related technical certification in an IT field.
- Aminimum of 7 years’ experience as an application developer working with:
- ASP.NET,Web Forms, MVC 5 and C#
- HTMLand CSS
- Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures
- Proficiency in source code management applications.
