The ETM is responsible for the development, recruitment, training, programming, and delivery of quality assurance across all ETM programs. This role also identifies and establishes exercise partnerships and presents at wellness, fitness and other related events as required. The role sits on the global ETM team.
Your Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee the creation of the Virgin Active concepts and keep current concepts updated and delivered at a gold standard level while proposing new concept initiatives.
- Lead the project management of concept rollouts following the “Product Roll‑Out” plan.
- Continuously evaluate concepts, making changes based on performance, member feedback, and industry trends.
- Create learning & development content for concepts – including learning flow, facilitator guides and manuals.
- Line‑manage a team of concept “Leads” to ensure coverage across all clubs each month, focusing on concept standards, instructor development, and quality assurance.
- Create a coaching pathway from foundation to master level for each concept.
- Develop an experiences/workshops/events calendar for each concept.
- Create a culture where the community becomes raving fans of the program.
- Create programs/workouts for online filming.
- Deliver concept courses within the Academy.
- Represent Virgin Active in marketing, PR, trade shows, conferences, and events as our SA expert.
- Personally deliver 4 club classes per week.
- Drive the commercial viability of GEX.
- Report on monthly and quarterly GEX performance and manage GEX dashboard packs.
- Handle people‑leadership responsibilities, including recruitment, development, coaching and performance management of the regional leads.
- VASA shall have the exclusive right to your services internationally; you shall not engage or provide your services with any other fitness professional or facility without express written permission.
- A formal fitness qualification relevant to ETM.
- 5‑8 years’ experience within a senior management role.
- People‑management experience.
- Passion for music and dance.
- Experience implementing GEX programs and a love for doing it.
- A highly regarded group exercise reputation with members and fellow instructors.
- Flexibility to work a non‑traditional schedule.
