Delivery Driver - Fleet Management

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and efficient Delivery Driver to manage fleet operations in Cape Town . This role focuses on timely and secure delivery of goods within the metropolitan area and surrounding regions. You will be responsible for operating a company vehicle, ensuring its maintenance, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers. The successful candidate will be a key player in our client's customer satisfaction strategy, ensuring prompt and reliable service delivery.

• Execute daily delivery schedules accurately and punctually.
• Operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
• Conduct routine checks on vehicle condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Manage delivery documentation, including proof of delivery signatures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle.

• Valid Code 10 driver's license or higher.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the Cape Town road network.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20kg.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional driving permit (PDP) is essential.
