Paarden Eiland is currently looking to appoint an energetic and motivated person to accept responsibility as a Driver in the Despatch Department on a fixed term contract. The successful incumbent will report to the Operations Manager.
- Daily deliveries to and from clients and suppliers (includes loading and offloading of goods).
- Accurate record keeping of all deliveries
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy
- Perform daily maintenance checks
- Plan routes on a cost and time effective manner
- Knowledge and adherence of all legal requirements and regulations stated in the National Road Traffic Act
- Notify the Manager of any major repairs or maintenance
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Valid unendorsed Code 10 with PDP driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Code 10 driver
- Basic administrative functions
- Valid Forklift license
- Experience in delivering goods to and from clients and suppliers
