Our client, a logistics company specializing in the transport of sensitive and high-value goods in the Northern Cape region, is seeking a highly professional Specialized Freight Driver with a Code 14 license. This role demands exceptional care, attention to detail, and a commitment to security in transporting goods such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, or other high-risk cargo. Operating primarily within the Upington area and surrounding territories, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of specialized freight, ensuring all security protocols are rigorously followed.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of reliability and integrity in handling sensitive cargo.

• Operate a heavy commercial vehicle (Code 14) to transport specialized freight safely and securely.
• Adhere strictly to all company security protocols and procedures for handling and transporting sensitive cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, focusing on vehicle safety and cargo integrity.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and any security-related incidents.
• Ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded with extreme care and according to specific handling instructions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and security teams regarding transit status and any security concerns.

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with a professional driving permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy commercial vehicles, with prior experience in specialized or high-value freight preferred.
