Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Clerk. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, as well as strong communication and computer skills. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times
Communicate with suppliers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Forklift certification is an asset

Working Conditions:

This role will primarily be based in our warehouse facility in Cape Town, South Africa. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed. The warehouse environment can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
