About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Warehouse Manager to lead their state-of-the-art facility in Cape Town. This leadership position demands a results-oriented individual capable of managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, staff management, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in warehousing and logistics to support the company's growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement warehouse strategies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and accuracy through robust inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar senior logistics role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale warehouse operations and large teams.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a logistics or distribution environment, preferably in a coastal city.
