About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead their busy facility in Cape Town . You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of warehouse processes and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

• Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations efficiently and safely.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
