Warehouse Receiver

Our client is seeking a diligent and accurate Warehouse Receiver to manage the intake of goods at their facility in Kimberley . This role is fundamental to maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed correctly and efficiently. You will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against orders, documenting receipts, and ensuring that goods are properly stored or transferred for further processing, playing a crucial role in the initial stage of the warehouse supply chain, working in a team focused on precision and operational flow.

• Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes.
• Accurately record all received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) .
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
• Stage received goods for internal distribution or put-away into storage locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring safety and accessibility.

• Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or material handling role is preferred.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and verification.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and move goods as required.
• Basic computer literacy for WMS data entry.
