Description
The School of Medicine Department of Physician Associate Medicine Adjunct Instructor Doctor of Medical Science is responsible for: online course organization, administration, continuous review and analysis, planning, and development.
Examples of Duties- TEACHING (90%)
- Teaches courses in area of expertise.
- Provides educational support for DMSc students.
- Develops, evaluates and revises the curriculum for assigned courses.
- Conducts periodic reviews of DMSc students and provides ongoing formative and summative feedback.
- Serves as advisor and mentor for DMSc students.
- SERVICE (5%)
- Attends faculty meetings, professional development activities, and retreats.
- ADMINISTRATION (0%)
- — (no administrative duties listed).
- RESEARCH (5%)
- Assists and supports DMSc students with doctoral projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned JD degree from an accredited institution.
- Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post‑secondary teaching experience.
- Experience with healthcare law.
This position is PRN and paid a flat rate of $5,000 per course taught.
