Assistant Lecturer / Clinical Assistant Professor – Marketing

Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s College of Business and Analytics is seeking a full‑time 9‑month Assistant Lecturer (master’s degree holders) or Clinical Assistant Professor (doctoral degree holders) to teach in the residential and online undergraduate program beginning August 12, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, or Professional Selling. This non‑tenure‑track position may be renewable for subsequent semesters contingent on performance, curricular need, and budget.

• Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality course content at the undergraduate level.
• Contribute positively to SIU’s mission of student success and retention through timely and effective instructional practices.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in marketing, MBA, or related business field from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated undergraduate teaching experience or field experience directly related to Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, or Professional Selling.
  • Evidence of high‑quality instruction.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in marketing or related discipline from an AACSB‑accredited institution with specialized expertise in one of the targeted areas.
  • Evidence of excellence in graduate‑level marketing teaching.
  • Scholarly activities such as publications, presentations, professional engagement, consulting, honors, awards, or continuing education.
