The School of Analytics, Finance, and Economics invites those with potential for excellence in scholarly research and in teaching
Economics graduate courses in microeconomic theory as well as undergraduate courses in Economics and Business Analytics to submitan application for consideration as an Assistant Professor. This position is a continuing, tenure track, 9-month appointment tostart August 10, 2027.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
Examples of DutiesThe selected candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses on a 2/2 teaching load, engage in scholarly research, and provide School/University service appropriate of academic rank.
Graduate-level teaching includes doctoral-level courses.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Economics or a related discipline. ABD applicants will be considered if all requirements for the PhD degree will be completed by August 10, 2027. If all requirements for the doctorate have not been completed by date of appointment, a nine-month, term, non-tenure-track appointment atthe rank of Instructor may be offered in accordance with University policy ( (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). ). Applicants must show strong potential to engage in research thatleads to publications in high quality journals and to effectively teach doctoral courses in microeconomic theory.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with high quality journal publications as well as thosewho can teach graduate courses in Development, International, or Monetary Economics and/or teach Law and Economics at the undergraduate level. Preference will also be given to those who canteach Business Analytics at the undergraduate level.
