We are a well-established, small animal hospital + exotics practice with 4 busy locations across Southern Illinois. We are seeking a Full Time DVM for our Marion and Herrin locations. With over 250 years of combined experience and a highly motivated, supportive staff, we offer a collaborative environment. Our hospital is open Monday through Saturday, providing flexible scheduling, a pro-sal compensation model, and full benefits.

Central Hospital for Animals has provided comprehensive medical and surgical care for over 45 years. Our main hospital is in Herrin, IL, with satellite locations in Carbondale, Marion, and Harrisburg. All locations feature full pharmacy, laboratory, and surgical suites. We have a team of 6 veterinarians and 35 support staff, welcoming seasoned or new graduate DVMs.

Southern Illinois offers a rich outdoor lifestyle with over 33 state parks, numerous wineries, and year-round events at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, including fairs, live music, rodeos, and more. The community atmosphere is friendly and small-town, yet within a two-hour drive to St. Louis, MO, and three hours to Nashville, TN, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and city explorers alike.
