This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in “fast-tracking” into a Store Management position. This role requires a minimum of 1 year retail management experience.

Description
We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Management Trainee to join our team! This role offers an hourly wage of $16.95 to $23.95, designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in fast-tracking into management. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $4.19 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary
Seeking a Store Manager Trainee with at least six months of management experience. Responsible for daily store operations, team development, financial goal achievement, customer relations, and promoting a customer-centric environment. Will analyze financial statements, participate in asset protection, and contribute to business growth. Compensation includes hourly wages, commissions, and bonuses based on performance.
Responsibilities Of a Store Management Trainee Are
- Foster a friendly, professional, customer-centric environment.
- Train and develop pawnbrokers to meet standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Manage store opening/closing, cash, and merchandise.
- Ensure asset protection and inventory control.
- Handle store processes including loans, merchandising, and reporting.
- Review financials and drive profitability.
- Maintain operational standards.
- Monitor loan and buying processes.
- Complete self-development tasks.
- Communicate store goals clearly to staff.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Perform duties standing, walking, climbing, etc., for extended periods.
- Supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
- Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Work 45+ hours weekly, based on business needs.
- Computer literacy and POS system operation.
- Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, organized.
- Cash handling experience.
- Independent working ability and strong work ethic.
