As a BHT, you ll provide quality, intensive ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges/disorders. Your role will involve working one-on-one with children, hands-on in a supportive and collaborative environment that feels more like family than a workplace.

• Build meaningful, trusting connections with children and their families.
• Deliver individualized ABA therapy, helping children develop communication, social skills and daily living skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and no restraints to teach and encourage desired behaviors.
• Work directly under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized treatment plans.
• Be hands-on actively engaging with children in play, structured learning activities, and skill building exercises.
• Record and track progress with data collection, celebrating milestones.
• Collaborate with families and team members to provide consistent, compassionate care.
• Have reliable transportation and be able to travel to multiple work sites (clinic, schools or at clients  homes).
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living & toileting.
• Provide constructive feedback to help you grow and make a positive difference in the children s lives.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and move between sitting, kneeling and standing positions.

• Experience working with children (experience with special needs is a bonus, but not required).
• Compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, patient and caring demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with on-the-job paid training provided.
• Flexibility to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments.
• REQUIRED HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA (with no previous experience) and/or a Bachelor s or Associate s Degree in a child or mental health related field is a plus.
• A commitment to learning and implementing evidence-based ABA techniques.
• Clinics located in Lackawanna, Luzerne and Wayne County, PA, USA.

  No less than 30 per week
• SCHEDULE:
  
  Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (approximately); 1-2 required days until 6:30 PM for evening social groups

  Carbondale Clinic / School / Home Settings
• WORK: IN PERSON

• Full-time employees (minimum 30 hours/week) eligible for benefits after 60 days of paid training; part-time roles may be available
