The Resident Assistant is responsible for implementing assigned programs for individuals in the Intermediate Care Facility Program (ICF/). The role requires spending at least 85% of work-time in direct individual contact, ensuring care tailored to the age-specific needs of the individuals served.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) years experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must pass PA State Police criminal history check.
• Must pass post-job offer physical exam and TB screenings annually.
• CPR certification required and must be maintained.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills for effective engagement with individuals, families, and staff.
• Valid USA driver’s license may be required for travel, and completion of Allied’s Driver Training Program is mandatory.

Administratively responsible to the Supervisor and/or Assistant Supervisor on duty. Duties are assigned considering the age-specific needs of individuals served. Adherence to safety, infection control policies, and regulations is mandatory.
