Carbonear Collegiate is seeking a committed music educator for a full-time term position. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Music Education and engage in additional teaching duties. Responsibilities include implementing effective teaching strategies, assessing student progress, and fostering positive relationships with families and the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for diverse learners

• Assess and provide feedback on student performance

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with colleagues and families for student success

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of choral and instrumental music

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Music Education or equivalent

• NL Teaching Certificate - Level IV or higher

• Experience in music education and curriculum implementation

• Strong commitment to professional growth and collaboration

• Evidence of effective assessment practices
