Clark Wood, experts in Accountancy Practice recruitment, are collaborating with a progressive and expanding firm of chartered accountants in North Cardiff. They seek a professional and personable Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join their team.

This opportunity offers you a pivotal role in one of South Wales' leading accountancy practices. As an Accounts Manager / Client Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various sectors. You will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of all client-related tasks.

Additionally, you will supervise junior staff, providing support and reviewing their work.

Candidate Requirements:

ACCA / ACA Qualified or nearing qualification

Excellent communication skills essential for client relationship management

Proactive self-starter capable of working independently

This role involves the preparation and review of Statutory and Management Accounts, tax computations and returns, and handling bespoke client queries and projects as they arise.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of Statutory and Management Accounts

Preparation and review of tax computations and returns

Managing a diverse client portfolio across industries

Supporting partners and clients with bespoke queries and ad hoc projects

Acting as the primary client contact

Responsible for billing and efficient workload management to exceed client expectations
