Salary: £32,000 £ 42,000 (DOE)

WLP Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Cardiff, looking to appoint a qualified or part-qualified Accountant to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors.

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Manage client bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Assist with tax computations and submissions (corporation and personal tax)
• Liaise directly with clients to provide accounting support and advice
• Support senior accountants and partners with client audits and reviews
• Use accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, or Sage

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working in an accountancy practice (2+ years preferred)
• Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards and HMRC procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software
