This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic international production company producing television drama at the very highest level.

1 st Assistant Accountant for High End TV Drama (A BAD WOLF production)

March 2026 to September 2026

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced 1 st Assistant Accountant to work in the Accounts Office on a High-End TV production.

Role includes:

• Overseeing Accounts output from AP and Petty Cash Assistant Accountants, ensuring that work is completed correctly and accurately, in a timely manner
• Ensuring month-end reporting requirements are met including VAT reconciliation and Carbon reporting.
• Creating, preparing and posting journals as required – including ensuring appropriate paperwork is digitally filed and maintained for audit purposes.
• Liaise with multiple department HOD’s to ensure departmental costs are accurately tracked and troubleshoot any issues raised
• Processing of weekly payments including possible international transfers.
• Support the Production Accountant as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a 1 st Assistant Accountant on a UK TV production
• Strong understanding of production budgets and cost reporting
• Experience using SMART Accounting and DPO systems or similar
• Familiarity with digital accounting workflows and cloud-based filing systems
• Highly organised, accurate and able to work under pressure.
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
