Role

Audit Senior - Corporate Audit
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 + comprehensive benefits.
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid Working Available).

Working as part of a successful audit team in Cardiff, you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion while supporting managers in delivering an outstanding client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit assignments from planning to final completion.
  • Supervise, review, and support the work of junior team members.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to aid their professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with clients across a varied portfolio.
  • Identify key audit risks and ensure work is completed to a high technical standard.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to deliver high-quality client service.
  • Manage audit work efficiently to agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Work both remotely and on client sites using modern audit technology.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA or CA qualification, or those nearing completion.
  • Recent external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
  • Experience managing audit assignments from planning to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within a team.
