Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Awell‑respected accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its Cardiff office on a part‑time basis. Working alongside experienced Managers and Partners, you'll gain exposure to a varied client portfolio whilst continuing to develop your technical skills within a collaborative and professional environment.

• Preparing year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping assignments
• Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
• Working closely with clients to resolve day‑to‑day accounting queries
• Supporting senior colleagues with a range of accounting and advisory projects

Someone with previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident preparing accounts and supporting clients with their ongoing accounting requirements. AAT qualifications would be advantageous, although qualified‑by‑experience applicants will also be considered. You'll be organised, proactive and enjoy building positive relationships with both clients and colleagues.
