As a Personal Tax Senior in Cardiff, you'll handle the day-to-day management of personal tax portfolios, ensuring compliance and offering tailored advice. This role is vital in supporting clients and helping the business deliver high-quality professional services.

Description
  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns.
  • Provide tax planning advice tailored to individual client needs.
  • Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and relay these to clients.
  • Support junior team members with technical queries and training.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients remain compliant.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
A Successful Personal Tax Senior Should Have
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g., ATT, CTA, or equivalent).
  • An organised and detail-oriented approach to meet deadlines effectively.
