Tax Assistant

Are you looking to develop your career within tax and join a successful, supportive accountancy practice?

You will be joining an established tax team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients and gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of tax compliance work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of UK accountancy practice experience who is keen to build their technical knowledge and progress within tax.

You will be:

• Preparing self-assessment and corporation tax returns

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of tax returns

• Liaising with clients and HMRC to obtain information and resolve queries

• Supporting the management of a portfolio of clients

• Reviewing and processing client information

• Preparing client and HMRC correspondence

• Assisting with client registrations and general tax administration

• Ensuring statutory deadlines are met

• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation

You will have:

• At least 1 year of experience within a UK accountancy practice

• Some previous exposure to tax work
