As a Financial Accountant in Cardiff, you'll play a key role in the financial services sector by supporting the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, helping the organisation meet its goals.

Description

Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
Experience in consolidated accounts preparation.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

Job Offer

Salary: £45,000 to £48,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Fixed-term contract opportunity in Cardiff.
