A successful independent firm is looking for an OMB Manager to take ownership of a varied owner-managed business portfolio and build genuinely advisory relationships with clients, not just deliver compliance.

The firm is one of the strongest performers in its region, highly profitable and investing heavily in its people. This role sits at the heart of that growth, working closely with Directors and Partners on a portfolio of entrepreneurial start-ups and growing owner-managed businesses.

Where you'll add value

• Managing a portfolio of OMB clients, acting as their day-to-day trusted adviser
• Getting involved in the advisory side, not just accounts and compliance, helping clients with the questions that actually keep them up at night
• Building strong personal relationships through regular client contact
• Spotting opportunities for additional work and flagging them to the wider team
• Reviewing work prepared by juniors and supporting their development
• Working closely with Directors and Partners on more complex assignments, with real exposure to how those decisions get made

The opportunity

This is a genuinely advisory-focused role rather than a compliance-heavy one. You'll get proper client contact from day one and real visibility of how the senior team operates, which matters if you're eyeing up Associate Director down the line.

The firm has a strong track record of promoting from within, so this is as much a launchpad as it is a job.
