Are you an experienced Senior Credit Controller looking for a role where you can take ownership, work autonomously and really make a difference?
We're working with a growing and ambitious organisation that is expanding its operations and is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to take responsibility for the credit control function across its Wales-based business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, is highly organised and structured, and has the confidence to take ownership of a busy and complex ledger.
Aboutthe role
You’ll be responsible for managing the full credit control function, working closely with the Finance Manager and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. With an annual group turnover of around £85m, the role offers plenty of variety and scale. - Managing the collection of outstanding debt.
- Building strong relationships with customers and resolving queries promptly.
- Matching and reconciling customer remittances against invoices - often requiring investigation.
- Investigating and allocating unallocated cash receipts.
- Managing sales invoicing and ensuring invoices are accurate and raised on time.
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams regarding new placements, changes and contracts.
- Raising credit notes where required.
- Producing weekly debtor reports and month-end reporting for senior management.
- Providing analysis and reporting on overdue and complex accounts.
- Working with senior management on the collection of challenging or aged debt.
- Supporting the development of robust accounts receivable controls and processes.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes.
