Senior Accounts Payable – Temporary to Permanent £35,000 - £40,000 – London – (one day a month in the office) About the Client

Our client is an established Business Services organisation offering the opportunity to join a close-knit finance function. They are a team of enthusiastic individuals who support each other's growth and celebrate shared successes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a small, collaborative finance team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role requires someone who can become productive quickly, take ownership of their workload and help ensure the smooth running of the accounts payable function.

• Managing supplier invoices from receipt through to payment
• Processing and checking invoices accurately and efficiently
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
• Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
• Responding to supplier queries and maintaining positive relationships
• Ensuring accounts payable records are accurate and up to date
• Supporting month-end activities relating to the purchase ledger
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider finance function
• Identifying and resolving outstanding or aged items
• Providing additional support to the finance team when required

You will be an experienced Accounts Payable professional with strong purchase ledger knowledge and excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working within a small team, you will be organised, dependable and confident managing competing priorities. Strong communication and Excel skills are important. You must be immediately available or able to start at very short notice.
