Assistant Producer – Community Ticketing

The Assistant Producer Community Ticketing will develop and deliver Wales Millennium Centre’s Community Ticketing Scheme ensuring the smooth delivery of our accessible ticketing initiative that provides affordable tickets and support to individuals and groups facing barriers to engagement.

You will be responsible for the planning, development, administration and operational delivery of the scheme working collaboratively with our database, ticketing and wider community engagement team. This role is key to WMC’s commitment to inclusion, equity, and audience development.

  • Shape the future direction of the Community Ticketing Programme increasing the impact of the scheme
  • Support the development of new processes, partnerships, and outreach strategies to enhance programme effectiveness and reach.
  • Collaborate across departments, particularly with Database, Ticketing and Customer Experience teams to ensure the programme remains responsive to community needs
  • Maintain accurate records of ticket allocations, partner organisations, and attendance data.
  • Coordinate ticket distribution processes, including liaising with box office and community partners.
  • Monitor and report on programme uptake, impact, and feedback
  • Identify and develop new partnerships that can enhance the reach and impact of the scheme.
  • Act as a first point of contact for community partners, responding to queries and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Support onboarding of new partners and ensure they understand programme guidelines and opportunities.
Communication & Promotion
  • Draft and distribute communications to partners about upcoming events and ticket availability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and engagement teams to ensure inclusive messaging and outreach.
  • Keep accurate records and maintain a coherent database to underpin communication and engagement.
Operational Support
  • Administer the scheme including writing contracts scheduling meetings, organising events and training and other activities needed for scheme delivery.
  • Coordinate evaluation processes, including surveys and data collection.
  • Undertake budget tracking and financial administration, including processing invoices and expenses.
Access & Inclusion
  • Ensure administrative processes are inclusive and accessible to a wide range of community groups.
  • Contribute ideas to improve programme reach and remove barriers to participation.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with organisational data protection policies.
  • Support the preparation of regular reports and insights to inform programme evaluation and strategic planning.
  • Work with the Community Engagement Producer to support communications around our wider programmes
  • Provide a professional and responsive service to internal and external stakeholders, including community partners, audiences, and colleagues.
  • Handle enquiries efficiently and with sensitivity, ensuring a positive experience for all programme participants.
  • Provide an additional point of contact for the wider community engagement team
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support the delivery of inclusive and accessible programming, this includes deputising for the Community Engagement Producer where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the wider community engagement programme, team meetings, planning sessions, and cross-functional initiatives as required.
  • Support the delivery of Events across the Community Engagement Programme included Carnival, Lantern Parade and St Davd’s Day

  • Ensure programme activities are delivered in line with funding requirements and organisational values.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative systems and processes.
