The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the GP Specialty Training Team in the planning and delivery of school functions and processes to support GP Specialty Training.
This post is being offered as a secondment opportunity only. If you wish to apply, you must have your line manager's approval before making an application. This post is for a fixed secondment period but may be extended or made permanent at the end of the secondment period depending on available funding and business requirement.
This post is secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the jobTo support the GP Specialty Training team in the planning and delivery for GP specialty training programmes for all Doctors in Training across Wales.
To provide a range of administrative duties across the department, which could include National and local recruitment for GP Specialty Training, Annual Review of Competency progression (ARCP), Welcome to Wales meetings, GP Study leave and GP Academic Trainees
To provide information to a broad range of stakeholders, including Trainee Doctors, GP Training Programme Directors, GP Training Associate Deans, and Health Board colleagues
To ensure that all trainee information is accurately recorded and maintained on the training database.

Person Specification Qualifications and / or knowledge- NVQ level 4 Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Evidence of recent Personal and Professional Development
- Experience of working in an administrative role.
- Experience of entering and maintaining accurate data systems
- Experience of working to strict deadlines
- Familiar and competent with Microsoft IT packages, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Demonstrable experience of following administrative systems and procedures making improvements where necessary
- Experience of minute taking
- Good organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to problem-solve
- Welsh Speaker (Level
1) or willingness to work toward
- Self Motivated
- Flexible approach to work
- Respectful and inclusive approach to all
