Purpose of RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bilingual Receptionist to join our established team based in Cardiff.
This is a key front-of-house role requiring excellent communication, administrative, and customer service skills.
Job DescriptionAs the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and guests, you will play an important role in creating a professional and welcoming environment while supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the site.
A professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to staff, visitors, and guests.
- Handle customer enquiries and situations in a polite, positive, and helpful manner.
- Arrange travel and accommodation bookings as required.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and follow reporting procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support team operations.
- Be flexible and available to cover shifts for other team members at short notice where required.
- Act as a brand ambassador by maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean, tidy, and professional.
- Fluent Welsh (Cymraeg) and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude towards learning and personal development.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexible, friendly, and professional approach to work.
- Awareness of health & safety and environmental responsibilities.
- Willingness to participate in PDRs and take ownership of personal learning and development.
