Cardiff Council is looking for a talented individual to join its highly regarded Committee and Member Services team. This role will primarily support Elected Members as ward councillors and liaise with service areas across the council to provide positive outcomes for the citizens of Cardiff. Enthusiastic individuals with local government administration experience are encouraged to apply.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe successful candidate will receive training and support & will undertake a range of administrative functions, including using various IT systems to support Elected Members.
Candidates should demonstrate a high standard of communication skills, both written and oral; excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills; and awareness of the Council’s political context. They must prioritise work, meet deadlines under pressure, maintain good customer care, and work as part of a team.
