Student Retention Officer

Your new role

Act as first point of contact for academic staff who are concerned about student engagement or attendance.
Triage students' needs and direct them to the appropriate support or intervention.
Follow-up with students to ensure that they have re-engaged with their studies.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outcomes in the required system.
What you'll need to succeed

Excellent administrative skills
Able to build empathy and rapport quickly with a wide range of people
Excellent IT skills across the Microsoft Office suite
Methodical with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working with people at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What you'll get in return

£15.99 per hour
Hybrid working: 37 hours per week
Temporary role until December 2026
