The Performance and Partnerships Service is responsible for a wide range of corporate functions, which support the Council as a whole and its public service partners. It is responsible for supporting the Council to deliver its ambitious policy agenda by translating political priorities into organisational objectives with a focus on supporting policy development, policy delivery and ensuring open and transparent decision making.
Based within the People and Communities Directorate, this will be an opportunity to work as part of a talented and dedicated team that provides policy, business and administrative support to the Leader of the Council and other Cabinet Members.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Leader and Deputy Leader's Office, Cabinet Support Team, Chief Executive's Office, and the wider Performance and Partnerships Team.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe ideal candidate will be experienced in high level administrative support, possess strong organisational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in using correspondence management systems. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information is also a key factor for this role.
