Little More About Your Role…

Joining the PMCM (Project, Programme and Commercial Management) division of WSP, you will be part of our growing Programme Solutions team, supporting the successful delivery of high-profile engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK.

As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring project information is managed efficiently, accurately and in line with both WSP and client requirements. Working closely with project managers, design teams and other project stakeholders, you will help maintain the integrity of project documentation and support the delivery of major programmes across sectors including transport, highways, water, energy, defence and sustainability.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about document control and looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Will Include
  • Assisting with the establishment and implementation of project document control procedures and processes.
  • Issuing drawings and documents in accordance with project requirements and governance procedures.
  • Receiving, downloading, filing and maintaining electronic drawings and documents within project systems.
  • Maintaining accurate document registers and project records.
  • Coordinating the issue of deliverable submissions with project management and design teams.
  • Distributing received documentation to project stakeholders and ensuring timely communication.
  • Supporting users with document management systems and providing training where required.
  • Promoting good information management practices across project teams.

You will join our Programme Solutions team, a community of more than 100 Programme Managers, Project Controls professionals, Risk Managers, Planners and Document Controllers located across the UK.
