We are seeking a highly skilled MOT Tester to join our client's busy Cardiff centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals to join one of the UK's leading tyre and fast-fit centre groups.

The successful MOT Tester will play a vital position in ensuring vehicle safety and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties of the MOT Tester
  • Conduct all aspects of MOT testing in compliance with Government standards
  • Support customers through the testing process, including progress updates and explaining reasons for test failure when applicable
  • Diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work where necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of testing and repairs
  • Work collaboratively within a friendly workshop team to ensure smooth workflow
  • Provide excellent customer service to foster lifelong customer relationships
  • Support workshop duties and assist with general workshop support as required
Requirements
  • Active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or proven automotive experience with an active MOT licence
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Flexible attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and customer service
