This role is central to ensuring stock accuracy, operational efficiency, and strong customer service delivery. You will take ownership of inventory control processes, customer stock audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives - helping to minimise costs, maintain compliance, and support smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisation, analytical thinking, and collaboration
across multiple departments.
What you'll be doing:
Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate stock records through rolling and cyclical checks.
Ensure all storage locations are accurate, organised, and aligned with business needs.
Manage warehouse data, goods-in-process, and overall company inventory (including customer-owned stock).
Adapt storage layouts to meet intake and removal demands.
Customer & Contract Compliance:
Conduct customer stock audits and produce reports in line with contractual agreements.
Support customer transitions and exits in collaboration with internal teams.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Produce management reports, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain clear inventory control procedures and drive improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
Monitor consumables and manage slow-moving or obsolete stock.
Issue Resolution &
Collaboration:
Investigate shortages, delays, and stock-related queries, ensuring minimal service disruption.
Liaise with internal teams to manage asset tracking, leaver stock returns, and spares loop issues.
Travel:
Travel to forward stock locations for physical audits (including occasional overnight stays).What you'll need:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Experience with in a Stock management role.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Confident producing reports and presenting findings.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Willingness to travel when required.
Full UK Driving licence.
Able to pass a DBS check.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary will be circa 27k plus full company benefits, including:
