Senior Business Development Executive – Financial & Professional Services
Location:
London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Belfast (flexible)
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development & Marketing professional to play a pivotal role in driving growth across our Financial Services focused teams. This is a high impact, senior stakeholder-facing position within a collaborative partnership environment.

The OpportunityYou’ll work closely with senior leaders to deliver targeted, insight-led marketing and BD initiatives that strengthen client relationships, enhance market profile and unlock new opportunities.
This is a varied and visible role where you’ll help shape and execute sector growth plans across multiple service lines.
What You’ll Be Doing- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, developing deep knowledge of sector priorities and growth objectives
- Driving client relationship initiatives including targeting, account planning, relationship mapping and opportunity tracking
- Leading the development of high quality pitches and proposals, managing the full lifecycle from scoping to submission
- Delivering impactful events programmes including seminars, webinars, round tables and strategic networking initiatives ensuring strong ROI and brand positioning
- Creating and promoting compelling thought leadership campaigns, working across digital, PR and content channels
- Supporting cross-selling initiatives across practice and sector teams
- Managing submissions for directories, awards and rankings
- Championing CRM best practice and maintaining high quality marketing data
- Building strong relationships with key industry bodies and external stakeholders
- Using market insight and research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
- 2+ years’ experience in a Business Development or Marketing role within a law firm, professional services or partnership environment
- Strong experience delivering events, proposals and thought leadership campaigns (essential)
- Experience in Financial Services is advantageous, but not required
- Excellent writing and editing skills for client facing content
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative and adaptable mindset
