PRISM Agri‑Food Research & Innovation (R&I) Co‑ordinator

SMEs’/companies’ premises with limited time spent at the Strand Road Campus or Limavady Campus.
The College is seeking applications for three fixed‑term 3‑year PRISM Agri‑Food Research & Innovation (R&I) Co‑ordinators. The postholder will act as an embedded R&I Co‑ordinator – Agri‑Food, leading innovation and decarbonisation activities within participating SMEs/companies and supporting the PRISM Agri‑Food Cluster Manager and Food ovation Centre to ensure successful delivery of the PRISM programme.
The role will provide targeted, research‑led support to a minimum of eight SMEs/companies within the Agri‑Food sector, helping them identify and implement low‑carbon solutions, sustainable practices, and process or product innovations.
The PRISM programme, powered by PEACEPLUS and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), will receive the Co‑ordinator’s support in research, engagement, and reporting.
The role will include:- Research and Innovation Engagement – Work closely with each company’s staff to identify opportunities for product, process, and organisational innovation, co‑design solutions, and develop tailored decarbonisation plans.
- Project Action Progression – Document research findings, methodologies, and outcomes; contribute to project reporting; and prepare SME case studies for dissemination and public relations.
- SME Support and Knowledge Sharing – Act as the main liaison between the company, Cluster Manager and project stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and adoption of sustainable practices.
- Performance Monitoring – Support the PRISM Cluster Manager in tracking each company’s progress, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain strong working relationships with the SMEs, trade associations, and cross‑border academic partners to enhance project impact.
- Compliance and Reporting – Ensure adherence to PEACEPLUS and SEUPB branding, visibility, quality assurance, and reporting requirements, and College policies on health, safety, equality, and diversity.
- Band 5 – £31,586 – £35,235 per annum
- Fixed Term – 3 years
- 24 days annual leave per annum
