Litigation Controller

How you’ll power our business as a Litigation Controller

Reporting to the Assistant Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for processing accounts within the litigation department and liaising with our debt collection partners.

• Actioning accounts through litigation process as required in line with agreed processes
• Release orders where applicable
• Responsible for updating of the accounts held by High Court Enforcement Officers and other third‑party enforcement agents as required
• Maintenance of the bad debt provision, ensuring ledger balances are accurate, and that up‑to‑date commentary is maintained
• Submission of insurance and insolvency claims as required in line with policy requirements
• Dealing with incoming queries in a professional timely manner

• Demonstrates a sound knowledge of debt collection including a variety of techniques which may be used
• Can negotiate with customers to bring a satisfactory outcome to all parties in difficult circumstances
• Can demonstrate an empathetic approach when needed
• Strong problem‑solving skills
