The MSS Group and the RSK Group have an exciting new position for a Key Account Manager to join the team based in Cardiff, UK. This is a full time, permanent position.
The RoleThe Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing key client accounts, ensuring contract fulfilment, and exceeding client expectations. This role focuses on sustaining client relationships, achieving financial targets, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The KAM will collaborate with senior leadership, provide support to junior team members, and contribute to departmental improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management:
Manage and develop assigned key accounts to strengthen client relationships and meet contractual obligations. - Financial Oversight:
Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts, focusing on financial health and profitability. - Operational Leadership:
Ensure the effective delivery of services through daily management of site staff, meeting all commercial and financial targets. - Client Meetings:
Lead regular client meetings to maintain open communication, address issues, and align on project goals. - Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on operational and financial performance, providing updates to the Business Unit Lead and Senior Leadership.
- Experience in account management within a service-oriented industry. Water treatment industry experience would be desirable.
- Strong customer focus with proven relationship management skills.
- Financial acumen with a history of meeting budget and revenue targets.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and operational best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

- Salary between £30,000 & £35,000 depending on experience
