£30,580 per annum (inclusive of sleep-ins)
Full-time | Permanent | 39 hours per week
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a well-established children’s residential home in Cardiff. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent work–life balance with a 2 days on / 4 days off shift pattern.
Role Overview
* Working long day shifts with sleep-ins included
* Supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
* Acting as a senior presence on shift and supporting less experienced staff
* Contributing to care plans, key working, and daily routines
* Ensuring care is delivered in line with CIW regulations and safeguarding standards
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a children’s residential home
* Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Health & Social Care (minimum)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred care
