I'm working closely with a leading real estate consultancy known for delivering some of the UK's most high-profile and complex planning projects. They're now looking to grow their Cardiff-based team with the addition of a talented Senior Town Planner.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic chance to join a national planning and development team that's consistently recognised for its expertise, reputation, and collaborative culture. You'll be given autonomy, client-facing responsibility, and a clear path for progression. If you're looking for somewhere that balances professionalism with a genuinely supportive and sociable culture, this is worth exploring.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver a variety of planning projects, including site appraisals, planning applications, and appeals
Provide expert planning advice to a diverse client base including developers, landowners, local authorities, and investors
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Support and mentor junior members of the team
Engage in business development and contribute to the growth of the regional planning offer
About You:
MRTPI qualified, with several years' experience in a consultancy or local authority environment
Confident working on complex planning applications and managing clients directly
Strong knowledge of Welsh and UK planning policy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ambitious, collaborative, and commercially minded

Competitive salary, tailored to your experience
Generous bonus scheme
Excellent benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and additional perks
