Trainee Site Supervisor

We are recruiting a Trainee Site Supervisor for a long-term freelance role on a commercial construction project in the Cardiff area. Minimum 3 years site experience, CSCS Card and practical experience using site operating and reporting systems.

This position would suit someone who has come up through site operations and is ready to take the next step into supervision.

Role overview
You will support the Site Manager with day-to-day site supervision, coordination of trades, and site reporting. The role offers long-term continuity on a live commercial build and the opportunity to develop supervisory experience in a structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with daily site supervision and coordination

• Using site operating and reporting systems to record progress, issues, and compliance

• Supporting health and safety implementation on site

• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams

• Maintaining accurate site records and reports

Requirements

• Previous experience working on construction sites

• Practical experience using site operating and reporting systems

• SSSTS certification (essential)

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures

• Reliable, organised, and keen to progress into site management
