An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading UK main contractor on a high-profile, multi-million-pound development in Cardiff.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the internal fit out phase of this prestigious city-centre scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in one of the region’s most significant construction projects.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations relating to the internal fit out package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Managing subcontractors and site teams throughout the fit out phase

* Coordinating internal works and ensuring programme deadlines are achieved

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site

* Reporting progress to the Project Manager

* Conducting site inspections and quality checks

* Managing logistics, sequencing, and day-to-day site activities

* Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications

* Driving productivity and maintaining excellent site standards

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager with a recognised main contractor

* Extensive internal fit out experience on large-scale construction projects

* Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management procedures

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification

* Experience working on high-value commercial or mixed-use developments is highly desirable
