Are you an Estimator looking to join a rapidly expanding house builder where you ll play a key role in securing major residential developments, whilst benefiting from genuine long-term progression within a growing commercial team?
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK s industry-leading organisations, where you will become an integral part of the pre-construction function, working on high-value residential developments whilst helping to shape the continued growth of an expanding regional office.
This well-established business is experiencing significant growth, with turnover set to increase from £40m to £200m following a number of major contract wins. As part of this expansion, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Estimator who can produce accurate, competitive tenders whilst helping to maximise commercial opportunities across the region.
On offer is a varied and autonomous role where you will prepare detailed cost estimates for residential developments, manage subcontract enquiries and pricing, and work closely with Buying, Surveying and Commercial teams to ensure commercially robust bids from tender through to project handover.
This role would suit an Estimator looking to join a stable and expanding business that offers genuine career progression, long-term development and the opportunity to work on major residential projects.
The Role- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for residential developments
- Manage subcontract and material enquiries, analysing quotations to produce competitive bids
- Work closely with Buying, Surveying and Commercial teams to maintain accurate cost information and pricing databases
- Support bid adjudications, identify commercial risks and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams following successful tenders
- Residential house building or main contractor background
- Experience preparing competitive tenders and managing subcontract enquiries
- Looking for long-term progression and development within a rapidly growing business
