Labourer, Construction, Construction Labor ​/ Trades

Concept Projects Group is currently seeking a proactive and motivated Labourer to join our dynamic construction project team.

As a labourer, you will be responsible for supporting the construction multi-trade operative with projects across several industrial sites in the North West (primarily in the Wirral Area, but not exclusively). This role involves general labouring duties working alongside construction multi-trade operative, senior builders and site supervisors ensuring our high standard of service and health and safety are maintained. Projects may include but not limited to civils work, fit‑out projects, or engineering projects.

Success in this role requires an ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, flexibility for travel within the North West, excellent communication skills and a professional and positive work attitude. We are looking for individuals with personal pride, motivation, and a strong desire to deliver work to the highest standards.

• Assisting skilled tradespeople on site
• Preparing work areas before tasks begin
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
• Carrying out basic demolition and strip‑out works
• Mixing materials such as cement or adhesives when required
• Keeping the site clean, tidy, and free from hazards
• Setting up and dismantling temporary structures (e.g. barriers, protection)
• Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Following health & safety procedures and site rules at all times
• Wearing and maintaining PPE correctly
• Assisting with deliveries and checking materials
• Removing waste and sorting materials for disposal or recycling
• Reporting hazards, defects, or unsafe conditions to site supervisors

• Keen interest in a construction‑based role
• General maintenance skills or willingness to develop these skills
• Good communication skills as this will be a client facing role
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Good organisational skills
• Work well as part of a team

• Remuneration package:
  National Minimum Wage
