Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor (Residential)
Cardiff, Wales (Commutable from: Newport, Cwmbran, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath, Porthcawl, Bridgend, Barry, Bristol & Surrounding Areas)
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead a regional commercial function within a rapidly expanding house builder. The role involves overseeing commercial delivery of multiple residential developments, leading and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors, and working closely with senior regional management to maximise commercial performance.
The Role- Lead the Quantity Surveying team across residential developments
- Oversee commercial reporting, forecasting, cash flow and final accounts
- Manage subcontractor accounts whilst developing strong client and supply chain relationships
- Mentor, develop and support junior commercial staff
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Background in residential house building or main contracting
- Previous experience leading commercial teams or mentoring Surveyors
- Seeking long‑term progression within a rapidly growing business
