Senior Quantity Surveyor in CFSouth Glamorgan

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a freelance basis, supporting the successful delivery of high‑profile fit‑out and refurbishment projects across South Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the region's most respected construction contractors, known for delivering high‑quality commercial, education, healthcare and public sector schemes.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for fit‑out projects from pre‑construction through to final account. Working closely with the Project and Commercial teams, you will ensure projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

• Full commercial management of fit‑out and refurbishment projects
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management
• Variations, change control and value engineering
• Management of subcontractor accounts and payments
• Preparation and agreement of final accounts
• Liaison with clients, consultants and project delivery teams
• Identifying and managing commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
• Strong fit‑out and refurbishment project experience is essential
• Ability to manage multiple packages and stakeholders
• Excellent contractual and commercial knowledge
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Relevant construction qualification
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
