The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a proven track record working for a main contractor. You will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects up to £50m

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce accurate estimates

* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations

* Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

* Work closely with internal teams including commercial, design, and project delivery

* Attend client meetings and support bid presentations

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, pricing, and procurement

* Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively

* Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Must reside within a commutable distance to Cardiff
